Top 5 Songs And/Or Albums That Get You Going

“Get me Going?” .. Oh! That can only mean the type of songs that you can’t help but tap your toes throughout the entire song, perhaps doing the drums on your knees or shins with the palm of your hands .. and definately, singing along to the entire song while possibly shouting for the whole world to hear (or checking the acoustics of your showerstall) during the chorus! These are songs that you can listen to over and over again and louder and louder … even if someone in the house is watching T.V. or sleeping, and asks you to turn down the music .. despite that you ~KNOW~ that the song just doesn’t sound the same at LOW volumes .. it also doesn’t matter – because you hear every sound, every instrument, every background noise and vocal in your head! Oh .. and it’s okay to be dancing to these tunes, in the privacy of your own house!

I’m feeling a little springy…
So the usual format if you will, Spring and spring related words are the theme.

This was a tough challenge

In fact, I would say that I got only 2 out of 3 because I am not intelligent enough to think of albums that have spring related words in them – heck – I can’t even remember where I put my cell phone half the time when I’m charging up the batteries! However, I gave it my best shot .. and that’s all one can ever ask of another, right?

Whenever I hear the phrase “British Rock Music” or anything close (like ‘British Bands’) .. I can only think of two groups …. The Beatles .. and The Jeff Beck Group … The Beatles, while there are lots of pick in my library, I thought I would start with Jeff Beck … If you are not up to date with who Jeff Beck is .. (and no, that’s a different ‘Beck’ that does Loser and Two Turntables and a Microphone) .. he is associated with Yardbirds (Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page) The Jeff Beck Group (Rod Stewart, Ron Wood and Nicky Hopkins) .. and many solo efforts on his own and for others!
